Pre-Cladding Processes
The process begins with identifying and mechanically cleaning the base plates and flyer to remove dirt and foreign substances, followed by mild polishing.
Explosive Cladding Process
Explosive powder spread over the flyer sheet. Subsequently, an electrical detonation is triggered from a safe room, achieving cladding within milliseconds.
Post-Cladding Processes
Heat treatment, flattening, and comprehensive NDT (UT, LPT, PMI, RT) testing are conducted in line with SA 263/SA264/SA265 and SB898 standards, followed by thorough inspection and documentation as per the quality plan.
